The colour tones in this exotic hardwood vary from a rich burgundy to light red to pink/orange. Jarrah is the perfect exotic hardwood for wood turning, carving, fine furniture inlays and natural edge table tops.

Sheoak Exotic Hardwoods
(Allocasuarina fraserana)
Sheoak is a very stable, strong exotic hardwood ideal for interior furniture, turnery, joinery and parquetry as it as has low shrinkage and polishes beautifully. Its distinctive medullary rays and moderately fine, even texture with straight grain, give these exotic hardwoods a unique appearance. When quarter sawn sheoak is typically golden in colour with rich orange highlights. The rare and sought after Lace Sheoak has a striking orange/red lace pattern.
